Fundraising
Why Fundraising Matters
Fundraising plays an important role in helping our school provide the facilities, resources, and opportunities that enrich our tamariki’s learning every day. Many of the things Willow Park tamariki enjoy, from upgraded playgrounds and sports equipment to extra learning resources, are made possible through the generosity and efforts of our school whānau and community.
By supporting fundraising, you’re helping create an environment where every student can thrive while strengthening our school community. Many parents also find it a fun and rewarding way to meet people, contribute to something meaningful, and make a real difference for our children.
Whether you have time to volunteer, ideas to share, or simply enthusiasm to support events, every contribution helps.

Help the environment, while helping us fundraise!
Recycling doesn’t stop at home - grab bottles and cans from parks, beaches, sports fields, workplaces, anywhere they’d usually go to waste.
Deposit them into the reverse vending machine in New World Birkenhead, choose Willow Park School and we’ll get 10c per item* (up to $1,500 per month across four schools/causes)!
Encourage your friends and whānau to do the same - every container counts! Together we can make a big impact.
Yummy apples are available at New World, Pak’n Save and participating Four Square stores.
Your efforts in 2025 helped us collect over 11,000 points and got us over $2,000 worth of gear - let’s see if we can beat that in 2026!
All you have to do is collect Yummy stickers and bag labels, and bring them to school. We have until early October to collect as many as we can.
Grab your collection sheets from the school office, or download and print yourself: sticker sheet, special Yummy varieties (worth double!) and label collection sheet.
