Willow Park has many keen rugby players. In the past we have had both Boys and girls representing the school. The children are offered the chance to play in 3 tournaments throughout the year run by North Harbour Rugby. Children wanting to play Rippa Rugby can do so from Year 3 -6. The tackle team is made up of the bigger children from Years 4 – 6.

Touch Rugby

Registrations are now being taken for touch rugby for students in Year 1 to 6

Games will be played on Tuesdays between 4:00pm and 6.00pm.  Games are 15 minutes each way.

The competition will start on Tuesday 8th September, and will run until  Tuesday 8th December.  

The venue for the weeks leading up to Labour Weekend will be Glenfield Intermediate School.  The games will transfer to Kaipatiki Park, the Glenfield Rugby grounds from 27 October onwards (ie. after Labour Weekend).
