The North Shore Primary School's Tournament was held on Thursday 6 August 2009 at Wairau Intermediate. Our teams were THE CHESS MASTERS: Hao Jia, Bella Qian, Xin Yee Lau (c) and Jemma Couch. THE CHECK MATES: Andrew Oh (c) Lulu Wang, Laura Dilks and William Hko. The Chess Masters (below) ended in 7th place - there were 40 teams from primary schools all over the North Shore.
